PLAYING IN BRANSON, MO...
THE HOT SEAT
Interactive Comedy Improv Show
A one-of-a-kind production unique and new…something you have never experienced before. It has been compared to the popular TV show “Whose Line is it Anyway”, only the Hot Seat is good clean family fun. Interactive segments beckon volunteers from the audience to participate in songs, improv, and comedic competitions…all with the thrill of winning tickets to other shows, area attractions, meals and more. It is a common sight at the Hot Seat to have family members cheering encouragement from the crowd.
Humor is truly contagious at the Hot Seat, Branson’s exhilarating summer show now playing at the Hughes Brothers Celebrity Theatre. The Hot Seat is the conceptual brainchild of Creator and Host, Dallen Gettling. It is an interactive comedy improv show catered to families, which emerged on the Branson scene with a bang last summer.
“Our goal is to provide clean comedy in a unique format,” Gettling explains. “Our show also includes sketch comedy, dancing and singing (with absolutely no sequins).”
After two years in Branson, Gettling hopes that families will make Hot Seat a regular summer stop. He thanks Branson audiences for 25 years of support (after being reminded that Hot Seat is a new show, Gettling adds that he is “thanking them in advance”).
A $45 family pass covers parents and all children. Discounted lunch concessions are also available. “We want to reward families and give them something fun to do together in Branson,” concludes Gettling.
